Opportunities For Us To Serve

Pray: Please take a moment to visit the Prayer Concerns page of our website and say a prayer for those needing our care.

Summer Volunteer Opportunities in Children's Ministry: We are looking for people interested in leading or assisting Sunday School or Wednesday evening activities for children age 4 - 5th grade from June through August.  You can volunteer for one lesson or many lessons and the curriculum and needed materials will be provided for you.  Please consider this exciting opportunity with our wonderful church children!  There are sign up sheets on the door leading into the Recreation Room.  Sign up for one day or a whole bunch!

IAM Focus for June is grits, sugar, coffee, and toilet paper.  Also, every summer IAM collects donations of school supplies for students whose families are in financial crisis.  Supplies most needed are: 3-ring binders, loose leaf paper, tab dividers, calculators, index cards, mechanical pencils and lead, colored markers (fine-line and wide), pocket folders, backpacks, scissors (school size), pencil sharpeners, and highlighters.  Donations for the purchase of these supplies are also appreciated.  Please note "school supplies" in the memo line of your check.

Video Projector Needed for Missionary: Chris Matthews, the missionary in Spain with whom we partner, is in need of a used Video projector. A pastor in Cuba will be teaching 48 people from different churches who are training to be leaders using materials provided by East-West Ministries, International. Chris,  a field director for East-West Ministries, will be leaving for Cuba the day after he preaches at our church on August 30. Anyone having a Video Projector they would like to donate, please contact Annie Bryant, 828-696-0611.
